I haven't slept a wink. I recorded this song as I've always played it, only to discover that I've been playing it wrong for over 30 years. It pays to listen to the original once in a while... I had the second chord at the start of each verse wrong; I played the song as if the first two lines were identical. The fix was easy: I edited the piano on Cakewalk's staff, note by note, and then sang the first line of each verse over again. Cakewalk is amazing.
I had some trouble hitting the high notes, but I left it alone. Good enough.
