One Less Set of Footsteps

If I tried to learn and duplicate the intricate guitar duets played by Jim Croce and Maury Muehleisen on most Jim Croce songs, I'd never finish a single one. They are a pleasure to listen to, but you won't find them here. I'm content to get the tune (mostly) right. I've always liked this song, particularly the way the "in the morning" phrase seems to hang off the end without a scaffold. After I recorded the basic chords, I went back to listen to the original and found that I made the "guitar solo" middle too long. Since I wasn't trying to duplicate the solo, it came out all right anyway.
