Opening and Closing Hours

Lobby - Open weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Stamp Windows - Open weekdays 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
Registry - Open Weekdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
Money Orders - Open weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
Full Holidays - Lobby only from 7 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.
Post Office closed on Sundays.


Domestic Postal Rates

First Class: letters, written and sealed matter, 3 cents for each ounce. Post Cards 1 cent each.

US Air Mail, effective Oct. 1, 1946, 5 cents each ounce including armed forces.

Second Class: newspapers, magazines, etc., 1 cent for each 2 ounces, up to 8 ounces. Over 8 ounces, Parcel Post.

Third Class: limit 8 ounces. Circulars, also merchandise, 1 and one half cents each 2 ounces. Books, catalogs of 24 pages or more, seeds, plants, etc., 1 cent each 2 ounces.
