Special Meetings

As mentioned in the President's Letter in the winter issue of Nannygoats, the Board of the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society has been working to update the Society's bylaws. At our last meeting, the Board voted to present a draft of the proposed bylaws to the membership for approval. In accordance with our current bylaws, the Board is holding two special meetings of the full membership to discuss the proposed bylaws.
These meetings, scheduled in conjunction with Board meetings, are:
- Tuesday, 3/9/2004 at 6:30pm, at the Metuchen Public Library. Copies of the proposed bylaws will be available, and there will be a brief presentation by a board member. A copy of the proposed bylaws will also be available at the front desk of the Metuchen Library following the March 9th meeting.
- Tuesday, 4/13/2004 at 6:30pm, at the Metuchen Public Library. The Board members will be available to answer any questions. At the end of the discussion, the full membership will be asked to vote to accept the proposed bylaws.
