We are computer software consultants and business consultants who believe business applications software should be very affordable. We also believe you should be able to try the software before you register it. All of our software can be downloaded from our web site for a trial period, free of charge. During the trial period, the software is not limited in any way; it works in the exact same way the registered version works. At the end of the trial period, you can either pay the modest registration fee and continue to use the software, or you can un-install the software from your computer.

The software we develop is field tested at our clients before we make it available on our web site. Usually, we release version 2.0 to the general public. This policy gives you some added assurance that the software performs as expected.

Why the lightbulb icon? Edison Computer Systems, Inc. has its roots in Edison, New Jersey, home of Thomas Edison's famous Menlo Park lab, where he perfected the light bulb. Edison Township is proud of Mr. Edison and the Menlo Park connection. The lightbulb seemed like a natural for Edison Computer Systems, Inc., although we are not connected with Thomas Edison, any of his companies, or with Edison Township. Some of us do live here.

Why so inexpensive?

We get paid to develop software by business clients. The software we produce works well for the clients, but we own the rights to it, so why not leverage the product into some cash flow?

By offering the business applications over the web, everybody wins. You get to try the software before you spend any money, you get to pay a small fraction of the cost of the software, you get to make use of some very good business applications to help you run your business. We make some extra money for our efforts.

We only do business over the web, and we offer support through our web site. We offer support in the form of FAQ's (frequently asked question lists), and we will accept email questions from all users. Read the FAQ's before sending us email; you might find the answer you need already posted.

Registration of the software lets you continue to use it beyond the free trial period, and it also lets us inform you about enhancements, add-ons, and bug fixes. The price is right, and the benefits are good for your business.
