I’m working on a version of the Museum Archive software that organizations can use to place their collection details in the hands of the general public. This read-only version should be available in the next two weeks, and all users of the software can freely distribute it (along with a copy of their data files).
A few minor fixes to the software will be released at the same time, including a date format change which will allow international users to work with the date format of their choice (instead of the mm/dd/yy format originally in the software). Actually, the software will use the Windows setting (located in the Control Panel).
After this release is in the books, I’ll be working on an import/export utility. Some users are working on the data in non-networked environments, and they need a way to combine their entries in a single database.
